Cat Skiing at Fernie Wilderness Adventures in Fernie, BC

FWA is nestled in a mountain range known for its legendary deep snow dumps, just south west of the Fernie Alpine Resort. Our tenure contains over 5,000 acres of terrain & a variety of different ridges to begin your descents from. Our guides have a vast knowledge of our entire terrain and will guide you through and over ridges, valleys and spectacular gladed meadows. With our maximum elevation at over 7,150 ft / 2170 meters,  the snow keeps coming in from the Coast and falls as a dry powder perfect for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy world in the renowned Canadian Rockies.

FWA is excited to welcome Kelsey to our team! She will be replacing Cindy as our office manager and we are happy to have her!

Kelsey and her husband Aaron are fairly new to Fernie, having moved here a little over four years ago. They have settled in nicely and are enjoying everything Fernie has to offer! Biking, skiing and snowboarding are high on the list so you may see them on the trails in the near future!

Kelsey is anxious to get busy so let’s get that phone ringing at the FWA office for inquiries and bookings! Kelsey will be happy to discuss your Fernie Wilderness Adventure!

“Best ski day I’ve ever had!!!! I will admit I was a bit nervous about whether I could ski this terrain. Our guide Mike was so good about insuring safety, and the tail Kevin gave me lots of great tips.

I’ll be back next year.

I really appreciate skiing with you guys, thank you very much for such an amazing day.”
